Dodoma, Tanzania

The Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) provided sponsorship amounting to TZS 10.4 million towards the implementation of a tree planting initiative by Habari Conservation Organization, involving 1,000 trees at Njedengwa, Dodoma.

The event was attended by the Director General, James B. Mbalwe, who participated in the tree planting exercise, demonstrating GBT’s commitment to environmental sustainability, climate action, and community engagement.

The Deputy Mayor of Dodoma City, Bakari Fundikila, officiated the event as Guest of Honour, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in advancing environmental conservation initiatives.

This initiative forms part of GBT’s broader efforts to promote responsible practices and contribute to sustainable environmental conservation.
