Africa Safer Gambling Week is a continental initiative that promotes safer gaming, responsible gaming, and player protection across Africa. It brings together regulators, gaming operators, industry associations and other partners to strengthen awareness and promote practical action on player protection.

The Week will take place from 7th–11th September 2026.

GBT invites gaming operators, industry partners, the media and the general public to participate in and support Africa Safer Gambling Week 2026 through the activities planned during the Week and by sharing responsible gaming messages through their social media platforms.

Responsible Gaming is a shared responsibility.
